Giles
Giles is a priest and the head of the caravan that The trio link up with outside of Cales. He recruits people to join him in his holy pilgrimage. He is a skilled swordsman but refuses to fight unless to protect women or children.

- Middle aged with unkempt dirty blonde hair, a scraggly beard and an average height

- He wears a rough light grey woolen cloak over his shift and tunic
- Tied around his neck and his pilgrim's staff he carries a lacquered leaf and scallop shell which are both pilgrim badges from his prior pilgrimages.
