Giles is a priest and the head of the caravan that The trio link up with outside of Cales. He recruits people to join him in his holy pilgrimage. He is a skilled swordsman but refuses to fight unless to protect women or children.

The Kids
The four blonde children from before shuffled nervously up the steps to the front of the church. “Finally we have some new members who will be joining the family for the foreseeable future. Standing next to me are our 4 new companions. They are young, I know. Their names are Eira, Petra, Joan, and Leoric. They have lost their parents and we will be their guardians for the foreseeable future. Please give them a warm welcome” and shuffled them off into the crowd.
As the oldest Eira feels the most sense of responsibility for her siblings but they all love and protect their beloved baby Leoric.
